The New Apple [Mac] of My Eye

Yes, it's true. I've become a Switcher.

The term is new to me too. Not many people do it. Although it is becoming more popular by the day. It's fun, and as I've discovered, very satisfying.

Yes, I have a new Apple of my eye.

I've switched to Apple Mac computers.

My new MacBook has Core 2 Duo 2.16Ghz and an upgraded size hard drive plus 2 gigs of Ram.

It's a start

And on this category of Organized Living World I'll share my experiences with being productive using an Apple computer. You'll forgive me if I just write apple rather than Apple, it does save quarter of a second of my time.

And over the past couple weeks I've found that I can save a lot of seconds by using the new apple of my eye rather than the old dinsoaur of my Windows PC.

I'll be reviewing a lot of apple programs on the hunt for all it's personal productivity software!

You can read articles on personal productivity software or time management software.

How To Develop Your Natural Time Management Skill

We needed a new time management system for modern fast paced life.

All the time management techniques, training, tips, books, etc are based on 50+ year old industrial business revolution history.

Then the 80s computer revolution changed the pace of life for good.

And old [tag]time management technique[/tags]'s are still being taught.

But there's a new time management system that you can discover for yourself in a revealing new report at Time Management System Lattice.

It's guranteed to change the way you approach time whilst getting rid of all the old time management techniques that have been holding you back from your natural time management skill.

Organize Your Life Without Compromise

Organize Life With Folderarchy

Hard work isn't it? To [tag]organize life[/tag]. 'Things' are always 'coming up'. Life chugs on.

But I discovered something new in 2006 that took the wind out of my sails for a few weeks.

All my life I had struggled to [tag]get organized[/tag], to organize my life as much as I had the intelligence, resources and discipline to do.

But I realized that in modern life, getting organized… I mean really organizing your life, is impossible (!)

And it led me to the obviousness of the truth which I've exposed on a very important web page that will give you a Formula for How To Organize which then continues with a very special method for how to organize your life at Organize Your Life with Folderarchy.

5 Level Organized Living Scale

When you divide organized living intelligently, 5 core levels emerge. And here they are presented for the first time in the diagram.

The foundation of [tag]organized living[/tag] is knowing how to organize.

From that point you must know the things in your life that you want to have as part of your organized lifestyle.

Beyond that, for the 3rd level, you'll actually [tag]organize your life[/tag] around those important things you identified in level 2.

And now that you've got your life ship shape, you'll have to manage time to carry out all the actual projects and activities that you've organized our life towards.

And once you've got to grips with your natural [tag]time management skill[/tag], 9 characteristics of your mind become the a limitless journey of [tag]self-improvement[/tag] and fulfilment.

Those 5 levels correspond to the 5 courses that are available on Organized Living World (see the right hand column of any page).

Remember those 5 levels. Consider what level you are mostly on right now. And take the steps necessary to progress. Obviously organized living is one of the most important aspects of our lives.

Now that Organized Living World is actually organizing the details to achieve an organized lifestyle, you can hammer away through those 5 levels efficiently and quickly.

But first, you need to choose where you need to start.

Are People Happy With How Organized Life Is?

Warning: I spent a few hours with a friend last night and we stireed up quite a conversaton about life. Tamara emailed me this morning and I replied. This is quite heavy duty stuff about the depths of an organized life. You are warned.

Organize Your Life For Genuine Happiness

Tamara said: I'm waiting for you to come up with the answer to the question that I posed yesterday about why people who are happy disgust you!

I replied:

The answer is this

they are not happy by my standard of juding happiness.

They are content to live an average life merely because it is the path of least resistance for them. they would rather be safe than fully commited to the adventure of life. they are like little children who cling to their mothers until they are left crying and kicking at nursery and finally forced under survival pressure they begin to emerge into their own self-directed choices for exploring the possibilities of life. adults unfortunately only develop so far.

in essence, they are still immature kids content with their tiny little appreciation of life simply because it gives them a warm house to sit in with their cup of coffee and newspaper, watching the world tick by, as they 'tip toe through life hoping to safely make it to the other end'. they are far from happy by my standard of judging happiness.

happiness like i said last night involves 4 factors: exhilaration, wonder, tranquility and love. there are degrees to such things. settle for less and then sum total of the happiness is less. pursue more, with balance, and happiness flowers.

Effecting people's lives through Organized Living

The new work in organized living from Organized Living World is really touching people and changing lives. It will probably do the same for you if you give it half a chance.

Time Management Technique Of Hiring Home Help

One example of effective [tag]time management[/tag] is with employing handymen and home help to organize your home life for efficiency.

If you earn a medium to high level income you should calculate the value of your hour for effective management of your time.

Why spend your time doing the dishes for 30 minutes when you earn $30 per hour at work and can employ home help for $10 per hour? Aren’t the few hours of your evening more important than house hold chores?

If something needs to be done in the home, then pay a handyman to do household tasks, giving you more time to live your life, and/or work at your career. This is a no brainer provided you do not hate your job too much, and are able to work overtime, or make extra money working for your self. Or perhaps you simply see the value of your time even though you don't earn a high income right now whilst you study, train and practice towards your dream career with good income. Buy yourself the time to live your life by employing some home help.

[tag]Efficiency Services[/tag] like this will sprout up more and more as we all move towards an organized living society.

The mind set of a natural [tag]time management skill[/tag] requires having the skill of organizing, prioritizing everything in your life, and successfully organizing your affairs to spend your time where it gives you the greatest benefit.

"I would just like you to know, that your time management suggestion is actually working to my astonishment" – Leah Cann, Personal Assistant , UK

The new TIME-Lattice Time Management System will give you back your natural time management skill by removing all the dead-wood of old fashioned time management techniques that you are probably still stuck with.

Most Popular Personal Productivity Software

What is the most popular personal productivity software?

That's the question I've set myself to research.

Over the next few posts in the [tag]personal productivity software[/tag] category I'm going to show you the software I use for personal productivity to help me [tag-tec]organize[/tag-tec] my life that I wouldn't want to be with out.

Whether it's the most popular or not is not really what we aim to know. We want the best. Which means the personal productivity software that makes us the most efficiently productive.

Now that's an answer I do already know.

And here's a guess. The most popular personal productivity software that I uncover is not going to be the best for personal productivity. Why and how could that be? Because people fall for glitz and marketing, rather than serious hard core productivity.

If you know what I mean, stay tuned for a very special review of the personal productivity software industry…

I'm not saying meditation is bad. I'm not saying '[tag-tec]positive[/tag-tec] mental [tag-tec]attitude[/tag-tec]' is bad. Hey, I'm British too!

Currently touring our beautiful world whilst I work, but my accent is true East London style!

Learning How to Organise is important isn't it?

In fact it may be one of the most important things we can possibly do for our success for all areas of life right?

"How long does it take to learn how to organise anything and everything?"

Social Networking Sites Used As Personal Productivity Software?

Here's what I used to do for managing web sites I want to keep track of and visit regularly.

I created a web page using web design software and put on it lots of links that I want fast access to.

Then I set that web page as the home page in my browser.

So whenever I opened up the internet browser, I would immediately have access to one web page with lots of links under lots of categories for everything I wanted access to on the Internet.

Well maybe you don't know how to use web design software.

Maybe you want something a little more dynamic.

You've probably used [tag]social networking sites[/tag] already, and in particular I'm going to refer to [tag]social bookmarking[/tag] sites.

Below this post you'll see a link that says 'share this' which leads you to a selection of buttons that you can press and bookmark this post to your social bookmarking account.

So what I decided to do was scrap my web page with all those links, which has starting to get a little large, and opted for installing my own social bookmarking software. it's working great. And you can use it to, Free, and together we'll start a little community of people interested in organized living, that bookmark web sites that we personally feel help us to organize life via a key selection of web sites.

If you are familiar with social bookmarking already, then please consider the value of a carefully developed social bookmarking site geared towards social networking for organized living.

The social bookmarking site that I've created for this is called Organize Your Life (the same name as my Folderarchy solution found at Organize Your Life.

The new social bookmarking site is located at http://bookmarking.organizedr.com.

You can create an account. Add buttons to your browser toolbars easily. Bookmark web sites and pages, add tags, explore other peoples bookmarked pages, and make any pages that you add private so only you can see it.

It's very simple to use, very effective as personal productivity software for managing your activities online, and it's Free, and it's part of an effort for us to social network with each other given that we're both interested in organized living.

As an example of what you might bookmark. Perhaps you have an account with MySpace, with Orkut, and with Facebook. Well how do you usually get to those sites? Takes a while to find the links usually doesn't it? Unless they're well bookmarked.

See the links I've made public from my own bookmarked pages, and join in. I look forward to building our social networking site for bookmarking using it as free personal productivity software.

The site again is http://bookmarking.organizedr.com.

Organized Living Weekend Review

Organized Living Fast Weekend Review

Take an hour or so every single weekend to review the past week and plan for the coming week.? And do it like this…
This is so so so important. It puts a sheen of success over everything you do. Try it for a few weeks and see what difference it makes to how well you organize life.

And don't let your brain trick you into missing this important technique.

Yes it can be extremely hard work to think of all the messy details of how things are going and attempting to put it all in order. But don't let your brain get away with chickening out.

"Brain, for the next hour, it's you and me bucko!"

Like in the 10 minute review, sit quietly with pen and paper, or at your computer. But for the weekly review, you need to create and assess a master list that includes as much about your life as you can.

I recommend starting off with these 3 categories:

Things that are going well
Things that are not going well
Things I would like to be able to do at some point in the future
Every week, think over those areas, and jot down some notes, and you can compare the previous weeks notes occasionally to see your progress.

That's it. A power packed life review in 10 minutes.

If you don't do it, and wonder why life feels so manic, come back and start doing it.

Organize Everything despite the 4 Hurdles to Getting Organized

Organizing Everything Has 4 Hurdles To Overcome

Funny how we can pick up all sorts of free tips or books or tape programs on goal setting and the like yet we still never really feel totally sure of how to organize everything.

I discovered why that is.

Goal Setting is a very inspirational and beautiful subject, useful for stimulating public training seminars, and motivating audio programs.

Learning how to organize everything is a far more 'boring' topic for most, and so it has not really been well developed outside of corporate business structure.

But for me personally, starting in 1995, I became obsessed with what it would be like to organize everything so that my life (including those goals) could function at a fast pace, fun, exciting, yet completely successfully in terms of my big desires, as well as not wasting ti me muddling about with things that weren't organized.

Think of your own situation as a case in point.

It's time to go to the bank. Is everything you need in 1 place that you can find and pick up in 30 seconds, or is everything in 3 places, that you need to hunt for a little bit, and so take 5 minutes to get ready?

That applies to doing anything. Shopping for clothes, groceries, going to work.

You want to organize everything, right?

Here's the mental tools you need to develop so you can organize everything. Use these helpful organize everything awareness building questions:

Organize Everything Stage 1

Organized Now?

Create a quiet space and time to think about things that ARE currently organized now.

What is currently well organized?

In the past few days what have I done super efficiently?

Do not make the mistake of skipping Stage 1…

It is necessary to support the mind in becoming fully organized. Readers who skip Stage 1 end up coming back to Stage 1 having not made significant progress with any other stage. So get ahead now and do Stage 1 first.

Organize Everything Stage 2

Cause of Current Organization?

What went well?

Why did that go well?

What about that had organize everything status?

Ok, once you have developed so me of that mindfulness you can then begin drilling down into deeper waters.

Organize Everything Stage 3

Ideal Vision of Organization

If I had true 100% [tag]organize everything[/tag] status, what would that really look like in my life? What would be absolutely the best most ideal scenario of personal organization?

Organize Everything Stage 4

What can be organized next?

Write down on paper (or type to computer) but don't just think it, ink it! (in so me form) everything, and I do me an EVERYTHING that co me s to mind relevant to you getting to organize everything status.

Organize Everything Stage 5

Organize It Continuously

Constantly be aware of how much time each activity takes you to do

Keep the items required for each project/activity/responsibility in as few places as possible

Give your possessions (including bank papers, garden equipment.. everything) there own special 'ho me ' so that you do not waste time finding them, ever..

Then you must beco me diligent about how little ti me it could take you to accomplish each activity if you had 'organize everything' status.

I am certain that if you regularly spend ti me going over these 5 stages to organize everything, you will see astonishing positive results quickly. Just from this little article of tips. That should add great confidence for you that you really can, eventually, organize everything.

Resources to Organize Everything

"How long does it take to learn how to organize everything?"

Organize Skills

"What Are The 3 Core Organize Skills That Allow You To.. well... Organize?"

Organize Skills are important aren't they?

In fact they may be of the most highly important skills we can possibly have for our success in all areas of life, right?

I was terribly frustrated with my self and life and made the resolve to learn organize skills to straighten out my ENTIRE life.

This proved to be a marathon in itself, whilst I continued to juggle my life.

But I was obsessed to find the solution, because without awesome organize skills, everything that I did would be inferior, and for the sake of finding and learning good organize skills I would be able to do EVERYTHING better for my entire life in every area.

It actually took me 7 years to complete my research and before I reveal the 3 critical organize skills, I want to strongly emphasize that you have the absolute most important organize skill already.

It is th
e key organize skill that I teach my clients to create a lifetime habit out of.

Captured in just three words..

Think on paper.

And the motto I use: "Don't just think it, Ink it!"

I'm telling you, this is the very TOP organize skill you can have. Don't reject or neglect it because of it's simplicity.

Grab on to this one idea and you will soon be able to organize a wedding whilst standing in front of a tiger.

Well, who would want to?

But the key here is that the elite of the elite get into this habit.

Commit to paper all inspiration, every 'must do that' thought, and all good ideas that are picked up from day to day.

Keep a sheet of paper and pen with you at all times.

Intuition / creativity (whatever you want to call it) will rise and grow by making a habit of this king of all organize skills.

Applying this concept of thinking on paper is more important for your organize skills than even the follow
ing 3 cherished core organize skills that I am about to reveal.

Please do not forget to always, always, think on paper.

The 3 Areas of Organize Skills

  1. Identification
  2. Organization
  3. Execution

Identification is the 1st of my 3 core organize skills

This is the skill of asking questions.

Everything comes from asking questions.

Rudyard Kipling illustrates this with his famous 6 Honest Men.

"I keep six honest serving men (they taught me all I knew); Their names are What and Why and When and How and Where and Who?"

The technical words here are differentiation (finding differences), and integration (finding similarities and connections).

Practically speaking, get into the habit of asking yourself automatically the following types of questions:

  • What is the most effective thing to do in this situation?
  • What does this mean?
  • Is th
at correct to my honest assessment of reality?
  • If this was better, what would be different?
  • How does this work?
  • Does that matter?
  • What other questions could I ask?

Organization is the 2nd of my 3 core Organize Skills

This is about using organize skill 1, and applying it to prepare and structure everything that you do.

It is essentially an extension of the same thing. A continuation where action is now applied to what we have identified.

To develop your organize skills for learning how to organize I obviously would suggest that you make good and full use of the OrganizeDr website.

Execution is the 3rd of my 3 core organize skills.

No we're not going to hire a hit man to 'get the job done'. Execution is that final moment of action that completes a definite step towards a goal. Like an executable EXE computer file, you activate it, and it executes the instructions that have been carefully o
rganized by the programmer.

The skill of executing a task is about that precise moment in time in which we gather the willingness to act on something.

To control thought in such a way that we direct it to activate our body so that something gets done. If it is a step towards a desire, it has to be done, regardless of whether we enjoy the task or not.

In summary..

My highest recommendation for organize skills is to think on paper.

Get into the habit of writing down your ideas, things to remember, inspirations, and anything at all that weighs on your mind.

Through that process, all other organize skills for your entire life will unfold with time.

The 3 core organize skills to stay aware of and develop are Identification, Organization, and Execution.

This is where we are heading in this section of Organized Living. A step beyond 'getting organized' or 'time management' into the actual dynamic processes going on inside your mind right now, every minute, drawing you ever more efficiently towards success, or not.

Once you have got the The 9 Secret Principles of Mind Power, the 10 Mind Controllers will be made available to you.

Organize Goals | The Only 3 Stages You Need

"Organize Goals Using Newly Discovered Permanent Principles for Conscious Goal Setting… Eliminate Conflict!"

I attended seminars, I read books, I listened to tapes, I 'changed my mind-set' but I still didn't know exactly HOW to organize goals..

Until that morning..

Finally, almost reluctantly, I sat in my garden under a warm summer, the breeze rustling the leaves of a tree, and I actually began to write down my own understanding of goal setting.

I realized that goal setting is really about how to organize goals.

3 levels of true goal setting (how to organize goals) are revealed in this 10 minute read.

I mean, think about this.

If you've read about goal setting before, has it ever been defined for you?

How would YOU define goal setting?

My short definition is: to organize [tag]goals[/tag].

Goals are: Things we want. Right?

Now suddenly, for me atleast, that took on a whole new meaning to my approach with goals.

What can I do to organize myself and thing around me so I can get what I want.

I needed to get organized, and I would achieve my goals.

Goal Setting became learning how to [/tag]organize life[/tag], [tag]organize time[/tag], and [tag]organize now[/tag], etc.

But there was definitely another important factor..

Conscious Goals vs Conflicting Subconscious Goals

I further realized that we already have a ton of goals.

Every habit is a goal. Every choice (including bad ones and ones that waste our time/money/etc) depends on some kind of goal from our inner mind.

The many goals we already have come from our deepest convictions, hang-ups, beliefs, and perspectives.

To really organize goals we have to be conscious of all of them, and we have to understand the ways in which they conflict with each other.

When you understand this article you will organize goals consciously and more thoroughly.

Under that summer warmth, by writing all these ideas down, I discovered 3 levels of how to organize goals which will give you very deep control of organizing your life for what you want to get out of it.

So here they are..

Organize Goals Level 1

Identify all the things that naturally pull your attention, that attract you towards them in some way, including things that you do not want to consider as 'chosen goals' such as 'watching the game ', computer games, TV infomercial channels, time at the pub, etc.

You need to be brutally honest with yourself by actually writing all this down. By committing things to paper, magic will happen. If you are skeptical, try it.

If you do not try it, remember that I hereby tell you that not writing things down on paper is probably one of your biggest causes of failure.

And if you are not in the habit of writing things down. I bet that you are failing in many areas of life.

Now, this list of 'attractive' things, those things that pull at your time and attention, are all goals.

They are your subconscious, habitual, goals.

Organize Goals Consciously by writing them all down on paper.

Warning: When many people list their goals, it is a wish list of things they would love to have but generally think are a long shot. They don't really have confident positive expectation of them coming true. This sabotages the minds function of achieving and learning to genuinely organize goals.

A mixture is needed. Some goals that seem a bit pie in the sky right now, and other goals that seem highly doable.

So…

Organize Goals Level 2

Ultimately, to organize goals, means to manage projects.

That is what goals should really be about, i.e. organizing projects and next step actions for each project, and then scheduling those next step actions. This is the only way to organize goals to achieve them.

Create a large list of all the things you would love to do, have, be, and get done in your life, now and any time in the future.

Take each item on that list, one by one, and add the detail of what would need to exist and what would need to be done, for each project.

I will keep this brief, but the last two points are very important. To organize goals you must create each one as a project and identify the next step actions for each goal/project, and be absolutely sure to write it all down on paper or type it on computer.

E.g. A goal such as 'get a promotion at work' will sink into nothing unless you identify the sorts of things, the steps that you can take, to move closer and closer to that possibility.

Are you now ready to achieve those goals you have organized?

Progress to…

Organize Goals Level 3

You now need to develop the willingness to act on those next step actions you identified in organize goals level 2.

Setting short term commitments to stay mindful of what is on your goals lists, and then scheduling the next step actions, will allow you to achieve your goals.

Again, it's a topic that some people cringe at until they experience the effects of the organize goals levels 1 and 2 first.

You can not put time commitments on goals with confidence and satisfaction unless organize goals by first identifying the individual little steps that you would need to take.

Using 'to do lists' are vital to organize goals, and once you have achieved organize goals levels 1 and 2 you will enjoy using to-do lists more than ever before. And what's more is that they will finally work well for you.

Simply take your next step activities from organize goals level 2 and select some of those next steps to make a to-do list.

Based on this article can you now organize goals better than before?

You and I know the countless people that attend personal development seminars to get excited and do some goal setting, but without the structure to organize goals as in this article, 80% of their good intentions become forgotten intentions and niggling frustrations.

Make sense?

Now you can feel good about goal setting.

So

first identify conflicting goals,
then organize your conscious goals into projects,
and finally schedule manageable next step action goals.
These are timeless principles for how to Organize Goals.

Web 3.0 And The Efficiency Era

What can you do to get way infront of a new trend into efficiency that will separate the 5% successful from the 95% unsuccessful for 2010 and beyond?

The weakest link in modern life might be the gap between the knowledge you have at your fingertips, and the time it takes you to use it.

I call this the efficiency gap.? And I recently predicted we are heading into a new era beyond the information or technology age, into an age of ever expanding efficiency…

…Which is really what all of technological progress is about.? But we have reached a point in the geometric growth of knowledge and computational power where the speed of our progress is determined by how efficiently we can harness our world to obey our wish.

Web 2.0 emerged over the past couple years as the Internet of mass social media, social networking, and ease of communications.? Community web sites making networking easy and the spread of information faster than an Australian forest fire.

But there is already talk of Web 3.0.? And I lay claim to a very small part in it's roots.

Several years ago I said "Convert your home office area into a super advanced cockpit for integrated success, and recently I posted on The Efficiency Era.
My Time Management System shows people how to streamline personal life and career time into a single dynamic unit.

But I can see that we're just at the beginning? Web 3.0 will be the www, the world wide web, turned into an efficient portal of social connection, information availability and thought at the speed of light.

Mozilla recently announced The Coop where they intend to make the Firefox browser an efficiency cockpit (my wording) for all things Internet and increased productivity.

I highly recommend everyone starts using Mozilla Firefox as the browser of choice, add plugins, play around with it, make the web your own, as we head into a mind bogglingly smaller world.

Welcome to Web 3.0.? Welcome to the Age of Efficiency.

Do This: Become A Self-Leader For Guaranteed Mind Power Control

I feel like writing. Haven't for a while now. Been scrambling to pull some projects together and not made room for new writing.

So this is for me as much for you. To touch base on the ideas of Self-Leadership with Mind Power, Mind Control, and Personal Success.

Since the age of 11 I have been mind-mapping. By age 16 I was revising my entire school Science exam syllabus in 20 minutes every day for a month before the exam. I got an A. Double AA actually as it was a double size course so we got 2 grades for it. But other exams I didn't do so well in. English they never taught us a thing. Hence my dodgy grammar.

My mind-mapping has grown along with my mind power and mind control.

A [tag]Self-Leader[/tag] integrates the work of others into his own model of success. [tag]Neo-Tech[/tag] gave me the term Self-Leader.

A Self-Leader protects the use of his time. Time becomes the utmost precious commodity besides conscious life itself.

A time management system allows mind power to shine. The skill of knowing how to organize allows mind power to shine. And it goes on. There are 5 stages of organized living. Mind Power is the final stage.

Last year in August 2006 I discovered a pattern in dozens of my computer stored mind-maps that led to a new re-organization of some big areas in personal success.

And honestly, I've been trying to pull things together enough so that I could begin releasing those 9 mind controllers in a business way, which means profitable for me, and as valuable to you as I can.

I'm nearly there.

And first, make sure you have the 9 secret principles of mind power so you are primed and pumped ready for the 9 mind controllers.

We are heading into a new ear which I've dubbed the Efficiency Age.? The revolution into an efficient world supercedes the industrial revolution, technological revolution, information age and communication age of the Internet.? But knowledge and communication is no longer the weakest link in the chain.

The new weakest link is how to use our wealth of information and ease of communication.? To stream line our lives. To be independent of lies from governments, religions, corrupt businesses, etc.? To stand as sovereign self-leaders in a new bright world of modern freedom.? To choose the lifestyle that you want.? All this requires a central focus.? Efficiency.
There will be mind-maps revealing incredible work into the human field of [tag]mind power[/tag] and [tag]mind control[/tag].

Time Management Program Without The Normal Confusion

3 Major Techniques Taught In Time Management Programs DO NOT WORK!

(ABCDE Prioritizing | Weekly To-Do Lists |Scheduling To Time)

"Breakthrough Time Management Program Revealed On A 30 Day Working Holiday"

In August 06 I took a handful of people virtually with me on my tropical island holiday in Thailand. For fun? No..

To dedicate myself for 30 days solid helping them to learn the 21st century time management program.

The results?

The Time Management Lattice. It reveals a system of time management that forever obsoletes and leaves behind the old time management techniques such as the following three time management killers.

3 Obsolete Time Management Techniques

Prioritizing by importance or urgency
Using Weekly to-do lists
Scheduling activities to time
"Prioritizing by importance or urgency"

This doesn't work because modern life is way too busy to do things in order of importance, and often what is screamingly urgent is not important compared to other things. Trying to prioritize by importance or urgency creates big problems. It used to work, but not today.

"Using Weekly to-do lists"

A nice sounding attempt to organize the next actions you need to get done, but what happens is that too many items on the weekly list end up being mini-projects in themselves, rather than actionable tasks. Therefore they get glanced at and the mind runs for the hills. You know it happens. You end up with a similar list of weekly to-do's next week.

"Scheduling tasks to time"

It would work fine if you was a robot, and lived on a planet on your own. Being human amongst others, your mood, energy levels, focus, interruptions, distractions, changing circumstances, etc all get in the way of a crisp tight military-style schedule of tasks planned to set times of the day or week.

And yet time management trainers still teach these industrial revolution age techniques.

To hell with normal time management programs, tips and techniques.

Let's do something new.

You can now get Free access to a feature report revealing the new paradigm of time management. The Time Management System Lattice.

Only Questions Have The Answer For Organized Mind Control

Jay Abraham is one of the worlds top business trainers and consultants, commanding $5,000 (five thousand) per hour for his telephone consultancy.

He says:

'Everything comes from asking questions'. – Jay Abraham

Now WHAT does that really mean for getting organized?

Well note how I just asked a question.

My questions keeps your attention and my focus on the direction of this article.

You and I are constantly evaluating, which means we are constantly asking ourselves questions, about our surroundings and choices.

Asking questions represents the basis of organizing.

The good news is that asking questions is something that you are good at already.

And it is a skill that when trained and focused and directed, really does lead to 'everything' as says Jay Abraham.

Find ways to actively ask yourself questions.

How does being organized come from asking questions?

Well try it. Try and organize something without asking yourself questions.

* Where should this go?
* What is this for?
* Why do I need to have this here?
* When shall I do this?
* What do I need to do first?
* Who? What? When? Where? Why? How?
* Do you see? Are you hearing this ring loud and clear?

Asking questions is the attitude and skill of curiosity.

"I have no special talent. I am only passionately curious." – Einstein

If you are not curious about 'stuff', how can you organize stuff? You wouldn't be able to. The better at asking questions you become, the better at being organized you become.

"The important thing is not to stop questioning." – Einstein

Think about it. Use questions more actively to help run your organized lifestyle. It's the 1st core skill of organizing.

Rudyard Kipling said:

"I have 6 honest serving men, they taught me all I knew: There names are what, and why, and how. And where, and when, and who." – Rudyard Kipling

Success comes from being efficiently organized.

And being organized comes from asking questions.

I'll finish this topic of Questions with a case study about how to Organize Home.

I'll show you how I used questions to help one of my readers that had difficulties she with getting organized, especially in her home office.

"I would just like you to know, that your time management suggestion is actually working to my astonishment" – Leah Cann, Personal Assistant , UK

Oh that's great, and Leah, perhaps you won't be so astonished next time I make a suggestion

How To Get Organized | Case Study

Using The 1st Organize Skill

Asking Questions For Organizing Home & Career

Notes from August 06.

Last week a very productive lady (we'll call her Jane) emailed me about her problem of disorganization in her office.

What really caught my attention was this:

"I've read many, many organization books, and am still having a problem seeing my way clear. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated?"

Jane has read 'many, many organization books'? So this really does beg 2 questions:

'What prevents a productive person from getting things organized even with lots of information on how to get organized?'

And the other side to this curiosity

'Why are those organization books so ineffective for people that otherwise are indeed very productive?'

Jane wrote:

"Do you have any brilliant ideas for organizing a multi-use space that's just too small for everything?

I have a small office/sewing room. My stuff is all piled up because there really isn't a space (s) for it to go into.

I have a plan for getting my filing done – bringing in outside help so I have to keep moving forward – but the books, the fabric and sewing stuff, the office supplies? are everywhere.

I've built a just-below-ceiling wall mounted bookshelf along one wall, and that helped, but there really is more stuff than space.

Any great hints to break it down and make it more manageable?

I've read many, many organization books, and am still having a problem seeing my way clear. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated (or point me to an article if that's easier).

By the way, I am a new subscriber but have enjoyed what I've seen so far."

My reply to Jane is mostly [tag]questions[/tag] to ask her to clarify and expand on her situation.

If you are the 'analytical' type, you'll be right at home with this case study.

If you're not a typical analyzer, then you need to pay extra attention because it might reveal a weakness you have.

I suggested possibilties, and asked questions about there suitability.

Please note that Jane is not a client, and I would never take this approach with an actual ongoing client. Nor is it anything in the slightest like the process in The Efficiency Factor (solution to modern-day organizing).

What this demonstrates though is this key skill-set for getting organized – asking questions.

My reply to Jane:

Dear Jane,

Hmm interesting challenge. That you've read a lot on organization already I'll try to suggest some unusual ideas if I can for you?

Lets see.

Small room, not enough space for the amount you have.

Questions I would ask you:

Do you feel you need all that stuff?
Do you need access to all of that stuff at the moment, or could some be kept there and some be put away for later?
Do those things need to be in the one room, or some of it moved out to other areas of your living space?
Could you chuck out things of low monetary value and then buy them as and when needed?
Would that feel like a waste of money or is money not the issue but more the emotional attachment you might have for those things?
Could you ask a friend with space to hold a box of things for you if they have a loft or basement with some space?
Could you build a low level false ceiling as extra storage space in that room?
Fabric and sewing material can take a lot of space because of air, can the stuff be squashed considerably into good holding packages thus reducing it's volume?

Please answer me those questions with genuine consideration and explanation, try not to make it too long though

Then from there I would ask you about the importance of the various projects that are 'contained' in that room.

What is important to you about them all?
What significance are they for you?
What do they give you or allow you to have/experience?
Essentially, why have you got all that stuff anyway?
I would not settle for your initial surface answers. I would ask you further:
What is important to you about 'that'?
What do you really want to achieve with it all?
Then from there I would ask you about

What does Jane really want for herself, 5 years from now?
Are all of those things in your room still included?
What about the rest of your home, your lifestyle?
How do you want your life to be organized?
What place do those things in that room have in your life now, and future?
end of reply email

Can you see how my reply to Jane was a big bunch of questions?

I didn't really give advice on getting her room organized. I simply asked questions for clarification and expansion.

The answers Jane would think of would either help me gather more information and insight into her situation so I could then make another reply to her, or Jane would begin to see some possibilities her self because of those questions.

"The quality of life you experience will be directly related to the quality of the questions you ask." – Dorothy Leeds

Where should this go?
What is this for?
Why do I need to have this here?
When shall I do this?
What do I need to do first?
Who? What? When? Where? Why? How?
I recommend you try out all the questions I've given you in this email for any areas of overwhelm, frustration, dissatisfaction and pressure? or areas of disorganization, in YOUR life (not just your home either).

See if the clarification and expansion helps you find solutions. I can guarantee you that it will.

Web 2.0 And Ron Paul for 2008 President

Sometimes forces converge to chance the face of history.

The Internet is one of those forces.
The philosophy of liberty combined with the ever growing burden from big government is another force.
Web 2.0 is a new forefront of the Internet force.

And Republican Ron Paul is a new forefront for the Liberty force.

Web 2.0 is about social networking, commnication, social media, everyone sharing and directing trends online.

Ron Paul is about rolling back the US government to the constitutional Republic.

Running for President for the 2008 elections, Ron Paul will be the first popular, principles and charismatic candidate of liberty.

Now finally in the late 2000's, America will once again take the world lead by electing a President of Liberty.? He will win because of honesty, integrity, sticking to the principles of the Constitution, with the help of grass roots campaigners like anyone who shares his message through Web 2.0 (blogs, forums, social sites, Digg, etc), and because Liberty will give us a prosperity around the world greater than the pessimistic hopes we've had until now on the bleak outlook of a world with the likes of Hillary Clinton, and Tony Blair (my Sinister British Prime Minister).

Time to say goodbye to big government, and welcome in the golden era of prosperity, new technologies based on honesty (neo-tech), in your great 'land of liberty'.? Come on Americans, show us Brits what you're made of.? My own British freedoms are being squashed by the European Union.? I'm counting on you as Americans to get your country back on track, the path of Liberty and the great US of A as a Republic that Thomas Jefferson and all those good guys set America up as in the first place.

Organized Living peaks with Efficiency.? When you Vote for Ron Paul for 2008 you will make your US government efficient by making it obey the Constitution.? When the US government becomes efficient, the whole world will become a greatly better place.? Here is the Efficiency Revolution of Liberty.

'god speed' Ron Paul and all you Americans who have some work to do over the next year to win the 2008 presidential election making Ron Paul President of the United States, the best President since the US founding fathers wrote the US Constitution.

My hat is off to you Mr Ron Paul.? I look forward to writing you a letter of appreciation in 2009 addressed to Mr President.

How To Use Your Listening Skill for Organizing

"Kissing and Listening, With Help From Albert Einstein"

Another mind power secret for organized living.

How Important Is Listening For Organizing?

Are you in category 1 or 2?

  1. Are you the type that enjoys spirituality and/or messages on humanity and life purpose? Often the soft folk who care about everyone – often the quiet helpful types. You're naturally better listeners aren't you?

  2. Listening is more of a difficult topic if you're more a party person, an analyser, or more stern and on the bossy side. So if that's you, endure the next few minutes and see if you don't find something valuable and even perhaps emotional in what follows.

In either case: By 'listening' I don't just mean a listening done via the ear.

I mean a listening of one's awareness. A whole body/mind listening.

Just Like A Kiss

A kiss that absorbs all attention.

Our mind goes kind of blank with that special kiss. And in that moment, both nothing and everything seems to exist simultaneously. I know you know what I mean.

Your mind spins with all sorts of self-talk, and tunes you right in to your real thoughts and feelings in that moment.

Albert Einstein puts it thus:

"Any man who can drive safely while kissing a pretty girl is simply not giving the kiss the attention it deserves." – Albert Einstein

Reminds me of a little poem I've got memorized.

One Kiss Dear Maid,
I said and sighed.
Your scorn the little boon (request) denied.
Ah why refuse such blameless bliss.
Can danger lurk within a kiss?

Our egos, agendas, judgements, considerations, inhibitions, reservations, all that type of stuff might come to the fore and makes us anxious and self-conscious, or it might all melt away.

And if we are truly absorbed with trust and acceptance, then all that remains is a timeless boundless kiss.

Yet rarely are we as real in our life as we are in such a moment as that.

Being authentic, genuine, true to our self and others, [tag]self-clarity[/tag]. All these things are a deep personal connected listening.

Being absorbed and honestly real inside ourselves as when we suddenly have a great self-realization, or experience a great joy.

"He who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead; his eyes are closed." – Albert Einstein

About Organizing

Listening connects our right brain creative emotional side with our left brain logical structured side. Allowing insights about life, and about each other, that for most people are rare.

Entertainment media and the daily problems of life distract us from really paying attention, to really listening, to our selves, others, and the universe.

Through distractions we come to accept a disorganized life.

We craft little self-lies that allow us to accept certain things that we think are too painful to deal with.

So instead of going to the gym for example, we make an excuse. We hide, cover up and distort our real voice regularly.

"Do You Listen To Your Engine?"

Imagine you are driving in your car. There is a knocking sound coming from the engine. You have a choice. Will you listen to it, acknowledge it, and attend to it by making plans to go to the mechanic, or will you turn up the sound of the radio so that you can't hear the knocking anymore and so try to forget about it.

The more honest we become by using factor 1 (questions), the better our listening (factor 2) will become.

As you get better at deep authentic listening you turn down the radio you have put on loud (all the distractions of life), which cover up the knocking in the engine (things in life that are not organized for success or satisfaction).

Then you will be able to do as Einstein says:

"Out of clutter, find simplicity. From discord find harmony. In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity." Albert Einstein

Can you carry these thoughts of authentic listening with you through your communications with everyone you cross paths with today?

Soren Kierkegaard said something like:

To discover the secrets of the universe you do not have to do anything except sit quietly and pay attention. The secrets will show themselves, they have no choice, they will roll in ecstacy at your feet.

So what are the practicalities for helping you organize your life in all this?

I'm not sure I should try and pin anything too specific down beyond what I've alluded to. If you are touched by these reflections, re-read the email, a little slower this time perhaps. And perhaps some secrets will roll in ecstacy at your feet.

If you'd like to correspond with me a little on this, drop me an email. Remember, 'everything comes from asking questions', and I am prepared to really Listen, to you. Or just let me know your thoughts on how I described listening with kissing etc. I am listening. Are you?

You can also answer the 3 questions below and leave your comments at the end of this post.

Suggested questions

Question 1

If there was 1 main thing that I could help you organize in your life, which would give you great satisfaction, no matter how big or small, what would it be?

Question 2

How would things ideally be for the situation?

Question 3

What does not seem right to you about the situation. I.e. How would you describe the problem.

By the way, the most useful suggestion for action I can give to you that automatically helps build into your life authentic deep listening is to get cracking with the 7 Steps of Organizing www.organizedr.com.

Yes I would love you to buy my organize products, and frankly it's a vehicle to a wider purpose.

I believe that bettering the planet depends on many people being clear enough, organized enough and efficient enough in their life that they are able to turn on their deeper listening.

I originally had the intended title for this article as: "How you can help yourself and others by listening to the universe with a flexible approach to being organized".

"You are an artist with words!!!!!!! You are an absolute genius. I continue to reread your work?. Thanks to you, this is the most exhilarating time in my life! You motivate me beyond imagination!" Barbara Nwosu

How To Easily Organize Files

Personal productivity greatly depends on being able to put your hands on information you want quickly, and being able to store lots of info orderly.? Here's some effective tips.

Organize Files On Computer And In Real-Space

Organized Files are important right?? Organizing your files helps to organize the home by getting rid of cluttered paper.

Arrange your files and folders, paperwork and notes like this and you'll be in much better shape in no time at all.

It depends if you want to organize files on computer or organize files in real-space, i.e. paper files.

Tips to organize files in real-space

If you have a system that isn't working, it's probably because it is not the system outlined below.

Simplicity of effectiveness is vital for a real-space filing system.

To organize files in real-space it should take no more than 1 minute to add so me thing new to your system and no more than 30 seconds to retrieve so me thing.

Preparation

Get a large sturdy me tal filing cabinet
Get box files and card files
Get an electric label maker
Chuck out hanging file guides

Implementation

When paper work co me s your way that you have to save for reference, grab a card file
Create a label with your label maker that obviously identifies what these papers are about
Stick the labeled file in your filing cabinet in A to Z order

Maintenance

Go through your filing cabinet and on computer create a file that lists from A to Z everything that's in your filing cabinet

Periodically you should go through your filing cabinet and check for items not on your computer file and add new ones so that your computer file is pretty much up to date all the ti me

I know that seems like a very simple way to organize files, and it is, it's me ant to be, and it has to be. Consider that if you currently have trouble keeping on top of the way you organize files it's probably because the way you have been doing until now is not this simple strategy.

So now you can organize files in real-space (and you really can with the above system), lets now consider the way you organize files on computer.

Tips to organize files on computer

Did you know that most people's computer contains more clutter than the rest of their house?

Alright so it doesn't take up any real significant space in your property estate, but I found that it effected my satisfaction and productivity im me nsely as I really had wanted the computer to be a source of fun and creativity and a way to keep lots of interesting information and notes to my self and also my work.

So I got to reading and that didn't work as there wasn't anything much besides the normal tips on personal organization. So I created my own strategy

The number 1 reason people don't like to turn on their computer is the ti me they know it will take to find what they want and the disgust they feel with themself for having let it get so out of hand.

But it ' s just so easy to fix once and for all and requires no special software.

Create folders on your computer for different topics. Put everything relevant to that topic into the appropriate folder.

Create more folders within existing topic folders for sub-topics.

E.g. You might create a folder called Health. In that you might have folders for Diet, Exercise, Sleep.

Spend time on that process and you will finally feel that you can organize files on your computer very very well indeed.

I hope this article has been helpful, and if you implement these ideas, you will absolutely see great results.

Organize Files Resources

To organize your computer files I suggest taking a look at the Organize Your Life Folderarchy system which will make it so unbelievably simple and useful that you'll wonder how you ever did without it.

Your Personality Power for Mind Control Success and Efficiency

Insider secrets on how your personality-type influences your life and how well organized you are.

Do you know about the 4 major personality types?

You can read an article I wrote on how to find out the level and type of your personality type power.

…So, there are 4 general approaches that different people use for their life to solve problems and relate to what happens in their life.

There are many names for them and here's one type of naming that is appropriate for today's article.

Analyzer
Relator
Socializer
Director

In 2006 I realized each of them gives a good metaphor for explaining a key skill in organized living; well any type of living actually.

Analyzer – questions a lot
Relator – listens a lot
Socializer – talks a lot
Director – takes action a lot

Thus you have got 4 major skill-sets to help you organize your life and create success.? And are probably most strong at one, maybe two areas.? And weaker in the rest.

The questions you ask, the way you listen, what you say, and how you act.

Questioning
Listening
Speaking, and
Acting

So let's cover these areas in the Mind Power and Control category of Organized Living World.

Here's a teaser for the next installment for personality type which is on 'Questioning'.

A business consultant who charges $5,000 (yes five thousand dollars) per hour (yes per HOUR), and has no shortage of clients, says 'everything comes from them'.? What are 'they'?? Find out in the Mind Power Questioning article.

By the way, if you want the straightforward no messing around way to efficiently get organized, then just go ahead and use the 7 Steps of Organizing.

"Been told I could do anything I wanted, but never knew the right path to take. I believe you have the truth about life. Many thanks" John Watson

John, then hopefully you also believe you have the truth about life too.? I'm glad you're here.

Measure Your Personality Type Power Here

Mind power and mind control improves drastically when you got a good understanding into the theories of Personality Typing and 'Temperament'.It dates as far back as Aristotle and is a consistent theme in many cultures, philosophies, psychology, literature (e.g. Shakespeare), and TV programs (e.g. Star Trek).

I have been so significantly aided by what I've learned about personality types that I consider it an indispensible component to well rounded character development, relationship building and organized living.

These personality power tests are FREE and may take over half an hour. Way better than normal self-help.

The best way to answer is to think of your self as perhaps you have historically been and actually would like to improve on. By doing that you ensure that you will be identifying your deep basic personality energies which are needed for the test.

I.e. Do not fill in answers that are 'what you are developing into or ideally want to be' as that will give you a wrong result.

This first test will give you your main temperament:

You will be either Idealist, Rational, Guardian, or Artisan. You can read a description of your type once you complete the test.

http://www.advisorteam.com/temperament_sorter/register.asp

This second test will confirm (or contradict) the first test, and also give you the 4-digit personality code of your type.

It may not yet make much sense but there will be an interesting explanation of the result that you can read.

http://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/JTypes2.asp

Thirdly you can find your 'Variant'

On the test results page that you got in the 2nd test there is a link that says 'type description by David Keirsey'; click that.

My variant as per the title is 'Mastermind'.

Phew, you're done. Now you may want to click around on that site to discover famous people, authors, celebrities, politicians, characters on TV, etc, that share your personality style.

You will have some powerful new understanding about yourself and others, and will significantly improve your ability to understand, communicate with, and influence others through your mind control.

Exposing The Prioritize-by-Importance Trap

Do you have to neglect certain areas of life because other things are ?more important'?

Should you list priorities by 1 to 10 and just focus on number 1 until it's done and then move on to number 2?

You would never get round to things like cutting the grass, exercising regularly, filing papers, reading your kids night time stories.

So Let's Try Combining Importance with Urgency

If it's Saturday afternoon, and Sally's appointment with tutor is 4pm, then that's an urgent priority. So you can read your memo after taking Sally. But what about your hair cut? At what point do you consider that 'urgent'? When it's long? Or when it's 'too' long? Or when the wife nags, or the boss frowns?

How do you really prioritize between reading a memo and taking Sally to her tutor and getting your hair cut? Should you try to prioritize by urgency?

Taking Sally to her Tutor lesson is not as important as reading and responding to that Memo in your briefcase by Monday morning, plus it's not till tomorrow afternoon anyway. So on Friday the memo is urgently important at an A level, and Sally's tutor is only urgently important with a B level.

The wife made fun of your hair again today so you'll cross off the hair cut from the C priority list and put it on the A priority list. You can read the memo tomorrow (friday) with enough time left while the shops are open, and in time to get back to take the Wife out, so you decide the hair cut is urgent, and should move to priority level A.

Along comes Saturday afternoon, and Sally's tutorship now gets crossed off the B list and put on the A list because it's Saturday, and you've got Memo and Sally's Tutorship on the A list.

Is prioritizing by importance really going to be a long-term useful technique for [tag]time management[/tag]?

Of course not.? The TIME-Lattice Time Management System Report reveals the full story, and what to do about it..

You want success. You want it in whatever form is personal to you. Everyone wants their own vision and version of success.

And I know the secret. The secret of how to have your own personal success.

And I am hell-bent on giving you every facet of that secret.

And it won't come cheap. It won't be $7. It won't be the $100 or so that would get you every publicly available product I have right now for organized living. No. It will cost more. It will cost both more money, and more time, and more commitment.

Remember. Everything about your own idea of success comes from what? From ACCOMPLISHING that success. And how do you do that? By being organized enough, EFFICIENT enough, strategic enough, to balance everything so as to make it all happen in good time.

And that's what I'm here to help you with. But we are all limited by time.

So trust me on this: My products are being sold for absolute monkey nuts compared to the decade + of crunching together thousands of bucks worth of information I've gone through along with hundreds of hours of my time.

Each product is incomplete on it's own. You don't bake a cake with only egg and water. You don't build a business with only a product and a web site. You don't have romance with only a date and a restaurant. You need the total picture. The spark, the flame, the marketing, the skills, the baking powder…

The 5 Stages of [tag]Organized Living[/tag] come to you via 5 ranges of products I have developed.

Which one do you need? They are different products. They focus on one of the 5 areas of organized living. So which do you think you need? Only one of them? You'll choose one to start with, and then progress with them all.

And don't dilly dally either. Get them. Print them. Use them. Write the answers. Your answers. And read every one of the testimonials that I've re-printed. Perhaps you feel hopeful but not optimistic about such great results for you personally.

Here's the thing: I guarantee that you will achieve those successes. How do I know? Because I know the secret that makes my work darned good. I also know the ongoing changes that happen for my customers that pursue with full-tilt boogy the application of my techniques.

Which product should you start with? Well, I'd take them in order.

Get the 7 Power Steps of How to get organized now.
Then take the Life Direction and Career Development Road Map Workshops.
Then Organize Your Life with Folderarchy.
Then apply the powerful Time Management System Lattice.
After all that get the 9 Secret Principles of mind power.
And then stay tuned for the 10 Mind Controllers that I will also make available this year which I'm working on now.

The products take you on a journey of self-discovery, clarity, and hard-nose, nitty gritty business-like thinking skills that will be with you forever.

It's not popular mainstream stuff either. Here's a top secret in the world of 'personal develpment gurus'. People buy if you make them feel good. I don't just want to make you feel good by getting my products. I want to seriously effect every area of your life. And that requires a different style of writing, of product development, etc. Do you know most people buy Tony Robbins tapes and never even remove the plastic cover on the box?

Here's why my stuff is different:

Most people who try to improve themselves focus on candy floss personal development gurus. However, there are TWO sides to the self-improvement coin.

One of them is self-clarity.
The other is personal organization.
People fail to balance these two areas, and therefore never really get very far with either area.

Typically you're into business stuff and go for personal productivity / time management / project management information.

Or you're into 'life' and go with the candy floss personal development gurus.

I've extracted lots of good points from both sides of the coin and deliver it together which creates an effect greater than the sum of the parts.

You and I have something special available.

Organized Living World feature reports and products for the 5 Stages of Organized Living.

3 Skills For Ideal Time Management

3 Elements Of The Ideal Time Management Skill Set

Time Managing for the Shorter-Term
Time Balancing (balance short term with long-term)
Time Planning for the Longer-Term
Time Managing is what you need to do to juggle the short term (immediate stress reduction). When things in the near future are comfortably controlled by time managing, then Time Planning becomes possible.

Time Balancing is what links managing with planning.

3 Steps For Time Balancing

Step 1: Managing Short-Term Time

(plugging in the holes)

It's no shame to be in the position of feeling like you're struggling to bucket out water (tasks) from your boat (schedule/to-do list) that's filling up fast from a dozen holes (uncontrolled areas of time management).

Until now there's been two approaches to time management.

Trying outdated industrial revolution type techniques like the 3 above (its like using the sponge of the seat to plug up the holes, it doesn't hold long?)
Trying to wing it (its like bucketing out water of a sinking boat hoping it will get you to the shore before it sinks).
We can very easily and quickly manage the short-term by writing down your current responsibilities in a clear-cut way to free you up enough for Time Balancing.

First, we will put a very rapid stop to the major leaks of lost time that you are experiencing right now.

The TIME-Lattice Time Management System begins by taking you through a few exercises and demonstrations about how much time you've got for your life. It even discusses the limited time frame of your life expectancy.

You'll also find out what the average life-span of a Japanese woman has got to do with your time management?

Step 2: Time Balancing

(building a better boat)

Time Balancing allows you to 'replace' your leaky time management boat for a brand spanking new one.

Many trainers will start you off by having to immediately deal with all the holes in your boat. Sure they might supply the putty, but it's messy and not necessary.

The new Time Management System gives you a new boat, a new vehicle, a new engine.

But we'll build it alongside the way you do things now, so you only need to actually change the way you manage your life once you see the new system is in place and ready for 'smooth sailing'.

Step 3: Time Planning

(sailing into the sunset)

Time Management is not just about techniques for dealing with what's going on in your life right now. Again that's like bucketing out water just so you can stay afloat.

When things are balanced clearly in your new time management skill is like a new vehicle that gets you to places faster so free's up enough 'free' time that you begin to do things now that you thought you'd get to later, if it all.

The TIME-Lattice Time Management System comes in 4 easily manageable parts. I want to make it easy as pie for you to benefit from the system, so dividing it into 4 parts has had the best success amongst other TIME-Lattice users.

See a Free report on the new time management system paradigm.

The Happiness Formula

I believe this modern world needs rising Self-Leaders pursuing their downfocus, controlling all areas of their life; becoming increasingly powerful, effective, successful, and happy.

I have determined the factors as it makes sense to me for that often ill-defined abstraction 'Happiness'.

Have you ever thought about what happiness actually comprises and means?

Happiness is the purpose of life?

According to Aristotle, Neo-Tech, and myself.

Neo-Tech gives the following equation for happiness:

Value Creation
(the source of happiness)

+

Value Reflection
(the experience of happiness)

=

Happiness

We have learned how to focus on value creation in the Organized Living World programs and now let's look at the big pay-off of experiencing Happiness.

Value Reflection represents the means by which we have that experience.

Value Reflection means simply reflecting on values; reflecting on what is good, beneficial, helpful.

Party time or quiet time to self for emotionally experiencing your productivity, recharging your batteries, enjoying yourself socially, or whatever you enjoy 'just for you' that brings you the experience of happiness.

"My current understanding and research leads me to four factors Value Reflection"

In a daily dance of ups and downs Happiness comprises Equanimity, Wonder, Exhilaration, and Love.

  1. Equanimity means steadiness, calmness, and composure: the peace and tranquillity factor.

  2. Wonder means the child-like curiosity of new discovery and fresh perspectives.

  3. Exhilaration means the excitement, anticipation, and energy available from the adventures and pursuits of living well.

  4. Love means feeling good will towards things

I believe it is the interaction and experience of those 4 factors that create the dynamic experience that we call Happiness.

As we pursue the development and completion and creation of our projects, sometimes we will feel good will towards them and people we are involved with.

Sometimes our projects will fill us with wonder , perhaps as we discover new information or ideas.

Sometimes we will feel a great inner peace as we see new perspectives, or achieve new levels of success in resolution of structural tensions we have been creating.

Sometimes we will feel sheer exhilaration as we feel competence and power and control.

And we must not forget to experience our earned happiness, to take time to reflect on our values, that we have acquired, that we pursue, and that we create.

To appreciate and be grateful to the values that are given us by others. To be mindful of these 4 factors of happiness and inject them into our conscious awareness at various times to heighten and enliven our experience.

Happiness came from the satisfaction of 4 criteria:

  1. Equanimity, peace, tranquility (endorphines?)

  2. Love, good will, positive regard (endorphines?)

  3. Exhilaration, excitment, enthusiasm, (adrenaline?)

  4. Wonder, curiosity, discovery (adrenaline?)

Thus:

Lifestyle design focused on maximising those 4 criteria...

List things that heighten or diminish your experience of each criteria according to the major lifestyle categories:

  • people

  • health

  • finances

  • creativity / hobbies

  • environment (home/travel/etc)

  • stuff / gadgets

Then we create a lifestyle satisfaction matrix to manage all of these factors.

Some of the boxes may seem difficult to fill in. That's ok. It's just a model, and all models are fictions. But it's a useful tool. For example. How can we fill in the Health / Love box.

  • What about health increases your experience of love? Well, actually that's quite simple. When I feel healthier and when I am healthier, fitter, having more energy, I can be a better romantic lover, I have a greater emotional capacity to experience and share goodwill with people in my life.

  • What about... Finances, decreases my... Wonder. Well, when I have to budget for things in a scarily unstable economy then I have to make choices which limit my opportunity for adventure, I can't satisfy my curiosity as much as I would like to as I have less money to spend.

There, not so difficult.

Next, consider the main things that generally give you bad emotional experiences. Be sure to include THOSE things in the matrix. And couple it with things that would actually increase your positive experience of each corresponding box.

If negative emotions eat away at your happiness often, this exercise is vitally important.

Value Reflection Exercises

I recommend giving the following a try, which is recommended by both Brian Tracy and Jim Rohn, two giants of modern day personal growth and business training. (I admit I have not yet found the psycho-emotional freedom to fully do it myself yet.)

Weekly Value Reflection Day

Take a day off from your value creative projects for one day every week. Change your state of focus to things of reflection. Spending time with family, friends, and/or in the worlds created by books of literature and philosophy, or other interests that you are not actively pursuing focused creative projects for.

Monthly Value Reflection Weekend

Take an entire weekend off every month. Perhaps travel from your normal home, take a trip somewhere. Do something out away from your tantalizing projects. Feel your freedom. Enjoy whatever lifestyle you have so far achieved. Do something more fun and rigorous for your health than your normal exercise routine. Fly to another State if your in the US , or another European country if you're in Europe . Have a picnic, watch the clouds. Do other kinds of mind exercises that you don't normally do, like memory improvement exercises, or do some art, write.

Yearly Value Reflection Month

Take an entire month off every year. I actually sort of did this once. I took a massive amount of time out of my core creative projects between mid December until about Mid January one year.

I spent the time on relationships, reading the left overs of a few novels I had started but not yet finished, and lots of festive partying with friends etc. And it was one of the most 'productive' beneficial things I have done for myself, as it freed up my personality massively.

I learned to relax and enjoy socialising, talking, laughing, dancing, lazing around, and I have enjoyed the benefits of that in all areas of my life. For example I am a much better communicator and public speaker because of the personality shake up I had in that month.

Philip Day of Credence Publications, a brilliant British speaker and author on Health and Politics, says that 4 weeks of rest allows the chemistry and thus the habitual patterns of the brain to disperse, thus allowing us to come back to our work neurologically renewed.

Times of value reflection can be very value creative too.

The point of it all?

And to be more philosophical, what is the point of working on our projects, developing iron grip control of our responsibilities, tasks, and projects, if not for the emotional benefits of self-satisfaction, and all of those 4 factors of happiness.

It is those happiness factors that drive us to do any and every thing.

Happiness is the purpose of our life.

And now you can measure your happiness quotient with the following integrations.

Happiness = Value Creation + Value Reflection

Where Value Creation involves identifying, gathering and manifesting your intent with the purity, clarity and efficiency.

And where Value Reflection includes the four factors of Equanimity, Exhilaration, Wonder, and Love derived from pursuit of your value creation.

Like a butterfly emerging from its cocoon

You hold now in your mind and heart many of the components for success, as I see it.

My intent is that you fulfil your own intent using the Success-Matrix systems.

Imagine yourself walking out of a University building for the last time, carrying under your arm a doctorate of credibility, efficiency, power, understanding.

You hold that now, absorbed within you, and you carry it everywhere you go.

With the wonder that provides, where do you want to go?

As you draw a deep physical and mental breath you can look forwards in knowing things will be much improved compared to the past because of your confidence from the Success-Matrix / Organized Living systems.

Really, in that tranquility, where do you want to go? You can go anywhere, reach any achievement, create any lifestyle.

I wish you all the very best, and we shall hopefully stay in touch for the long journey into the rising Super-society.

I trust you will fall in love with your life over and over again as your happiness mounts to unbelievable heights with exhilaration, wonder, and peace.

To what you will do, have, and become.

With exhilaration, wonder, equanimity, and love,

Procrastinating To Organize Your Life?

Do you battle with this same 3-point triangle of confusion, emotion, and discipline that I do?

Emotion – life's purpose is happiness which is an emotion, but if I do everything that makes' me 'happy', I'll be fat, unhealthy, lazy, and probably arrested.

So the 2nd part of this triangle relationship is Discipline. Which means battling my procrastination and laziness to harness my logic and effort to do what will really make me the most happy in the long run, even if it's difficult, boring or unfulfilling in the short-term.

And the confusion to know when to go with the flow vs when to stick to my productivity guns and get to work.

How do you decide when to rest, when to relax, when to enjoy, and when to push ever forwards, onwards and upwards with productivity?

Modern Organized Living means finding the right balance between the 2 keys to success: Productivity, and Enjoyment!

A difficult lesson for me is that as an emotional human I really can not stay efficiently productive for as long as I would like to, without reflecting on my values and my happiness, which should come through time spent with significant people.

My ideal lifestyle is to be torn between my work and a woman that can handle (manage) me… to be teased by those 2 main parts of my life.

Oh where for art though Juliete!

That thee may keep me on upon the narrow bridge productivity, effort, and success.

If you want to know the secrets of mind power and control then they are yours. Or perhaps you want a logical approach for how to organize your life.

Top 5 Definitions Of Web 3.0 Leading To Web 4.0

Web 3.0 Definition 1

Recently appeared at a conference was the following brief description of the Web X.0's thus far:

Web 1.0: You
Web 2.0: We
Web 3.0: Me

I really like[d] that. Simple, clear and accurate. In line with my early 2007 identification that Web 3.0 could be the dawn of a new Efficiency Era.

So…

Web 3.0 Definition 2

Is my own definition.

Web 3.0 = Productivity (a long word), Efficiency (an abstract word) (orMe (a concrete simple word)). This is about personalizing the web: Web 3.0 = Personalization. I.e. it's all about 'me'.

Another note worthy definition I found:

Web 3.0 Definition 3

1.0 was information
2.0 was participation
3.0 is collaboration

I don't agree with this one. Web 2.0 has been crystalised as the 'social collaboration' era. Which fits far more with the idea of 'we' as per definition 1.

Web 2.0 is both participation and collaboration, indeed they are synonyms.

Someone expressed this as: you and me working with anyone, everyone using tools that help us cross boundaries and increase conversation and collaborative action.

Then another development:

Web 3.0 Definition 4

1. You (or maybe Them is better?)
2. Me
3. We (or as Jean Russell said collaboration)

Look at the idea for Web 1.0. I do really like the Web 1.0 label of 'them'. It's more isolationist, which characterises the evolution of the web into web 2.0 (collaboration) and web 3.0 (personalization/'me').

Web 3.0 Definition 5

So my own variation on the excellent ideas above is my concluding Web 2.0 definition:

Web 1.0: Them (information)
Web 2.0: Us (collaboration)
Web 3.0: Me (personalization)

First there was static html websites, created about 'them', other people, some company sites, etc.

Then we evolved into web 2.0, that of collaboration, or 'we'.

Now comes Web 3.0 for efficiency and productivity… all about 'me, me, me'

And I will hazard an extension into the as yet untold topic of Web 4.0. When I have organized 'me', become efficient, productive, and have things organized in my life and on my web the way I want it, then, and only then, can I really be wholly interested in You. Web 4.0 will be characterized by the focus on 'you'.

Thus my concluding defintions of Web X.0:

Web 1.0 = Them

Web 2.0 = Us

Web 3.0 = Me

Web 4.0 = You

What do you think?

Use Consistency Containers for your Web 3.0 Efficiency

I've been slacking. And realised what my problem is.

I didn't have super efficient access to my 'consistency containers'.

Once you understand this concept, you'll be able to use everything else I've given you via this site and reach yet another higher level of efficiency, personal organization, productivity, self-clarity, yada yada you get the picture, let's dig right into this now:

Consistency Containers

Consistency - the disciplined practice of persistent action

Containers - places to keep stuff

Consistency Containers as such as places that you keep stuff to help you remain persistent and disciplined.

Obviously we're talking about stuff that help you accomplish what you want to accomplish. Organized Living, productivity, yada yada yada.

And what about Web 3.0 Efficiency?

Well, you can visit web 3.0 to find out more on that. Essentially web 3.0 is the evolution beginning to happen on the Internet where you get to choose the exact contact that shows up on your screen when you're at your computer, and browsing the internet.

Of course, efficiency suggests the combined best of all worlds. Organization, time management, productivity, clarity, etc.

So I've been slacking whilst my time and attention has been on a few set large projects that I've been cranking out. So I've lost a little discipline on the bigger picture of my life, projects, etc.

That's ok, life goes in cycles. We're not robots. I'm happy with what I'm spending my time on. It's just that it's time again to revamp, rejig, and generally bring together my overall life management and personal organization systems again.

So here's what I'm playing with right now.

My main consistency containers for web 3.0 efficiency

Mind-Mapping

(still grateful to my dad for introducing me to this concept before there was computer software for it when I was 11 years old)

I use mind-mapping software and have several hundred mind-maps all stored on my computer, which I use daily to organize my projects and tasks that I do on computer, and where I store my big visions for my lifestyle and future dreams.

It works well for me. You can check out a free service online that I like called http://mindomo.com/ which allows you to make 7 priate mind-maps in your free account. You can upgrade if you like it, or contact me if you're interested in buying software and I'll tell you what I'm using at that time.

Mind-Mapping is not just about 'brain storming', it's about organizing your ideas.

Folderarchy

I assume that you use Folderarchy given that you're reading this article at my site. If not, find out right now how to organize your life using a simple system I discovered years ago that does away with complicated personal productivity software and allows a life-long growing way to store, find, organize, etc all your data, information, interests, responsibilities, etc, needing no new software whatsoever.

Bookmarking

Visit my page on personal productivity with bookmarking to find out about how I use this fantastic tool that does away with normal 'favorites' in your internet browser to allow you awesome control and management of websites that you like to use.

Email

I recommend Gmail. I really really recommend Gmail. It allows tagging, great search function, etc.

Bookcase

This one is not on the computer. It's my bookcase in my room that holds the books I want at hand at present. It's another important consistency container for my efficiency as I read a lot and want these books at easy reach.

Now comes practicing the art of Efficiency

I have the list of these 5 consistency containers on the main mind-map I open up to plan my day. My central mind-map is called 'My Matrix'.

It's important enough to me that it's easy to open it up at one click of a button on my computer. Basic habit.

And that one activity puts infront of my face a list of my consistency containers, along with other project management parts on my mind-map.

So as soon as I see that list of consistency containers I am immediately aware and mindful of them. I can then use that mindfulness to help decide what to do.

Does that make sense? It's both so simple and so powerful, just as things should be.

So using that list of 5 main places I store ideas or things at that I want to act on regularly, I can visit my bookmarking page, check my emails, browse my Folderarchy, use my mind-maps, and pull a book of my bookcase.

Use the idea of having 'consistency containers' in your own personal productivity time management system and I guarantee it will pay off in spades.

If you feel overwhelmed by how much you have got to do, or do not feel in control, then a major cause will be because you do not have well established consistency containers.

Perhaps you'll add an 'in basket' to your list of consistency containers. Just make sure you have a functional few places that you actively store stuff you want to access on a regular basis, make the list, put the list somewhere prominant so that you refer to it regularly, and you'll easily lower overwhelm and increase efficiency.

Mom seeks help for her son's personal organization

My son has asked me for help in dealing with job pressures from "all the stuff landing on my plate right now." (He's a demographics specialist for a homebuilder.) Anyway, it appears that prioritization and organization skills enhancement are in order here. With that in mind, I'd like to purchase your program for him … how could we make that work? I look forward to hearing from you later today or tomorrow when I check my Outlook Express. Mom

——–

Hey there Super Mom!

I assume your son is not yet managing a team. Let me know when he is.

For the time being there are 2 programs that I can suggest that he use.

http://timemanagementsystemlattice.com is the big program on time management and is quite involved.

http://www.organizedr.com is a very simple to implement step by step process that makes it real easy to organize projects.

So decide on what's best to start him on, and let me know how he gets on.

If you have any particular questions then please feel very welcome to email me.

Highest regards,

Esoteric Notes on the Essence of Organized Living

the essence of the…

1st dimension of reality is SKILL
2nd dimension of reality is DIRECTION
3rd dimension of reality is STRUCTURE
4th dimension of reality is ORDER
5th dimension of reality is CONTROL
6th dimension of reality is SYNERGY

1st dimension is foundational, and very much relates to the skill of organizing, along with the notion of organizing being tied to the human abilities of speaking, acting, and listening – which again are basic fundamental human behaviours, relating to action, thought, and feeling.

202 gives those basic human traits direction, meaning, purpose.

303 gives them structure through the physical, mental, and emotional realms of a well balanced organized life.

4th dimension of organized living (or internal processing) is time, but by considering what time is, it's a human abstraction based on physical movement/proximity, and that relates to the order in which things are structured, and the order in which they occur, i.e. time management.

and the 5th dimension is control as per wallaces expression 'the essence of conscious life is control' where consciousness is the 5th controlling dimension of space-time (as per my 5 stages of organized living video).

and 606 extends beyond the internal processing focussed previous 5 dimensions and into the social sphere of collaboration for leveraged success, i.e. synergy.

Quick Self Review

I need to do a self-review (weekly review) to get clear and organized in my own mind, and in my important areas of life.

First, what are those?

Career
Study
Home life
Finances
Health (diet and exercise)
Fun
Writing projects
That feels like appropriate categories for me at this time.

First thing I should do is identify where those areas exist inside my to-do list software, and see what's outstanding, and add anything that occurs to me that should be there…

Before I do that, I'll consider what I've been doing lately, what's going well and what's causing me frustration.

Personal Frustrations

Political hoops and expenses with car
Caught in credit crunch with investment property
Lack of mini-day tightness leading to disorganization and inefficiency
Those blasted to-do items on my list that I have blocks against focusing on and getting through
What's going well

My big client seems happy with work produced so far
Feel quite balanced in myself in general
Learning new things at a rapid pace
Picked up my health building activities again lately, added more nutrition, and going to the gym regularly again
Enjoying learning chords and basic strumming on my new spanish classical guitar
Ok time to go tidy up my to-do list inside my personal productivity software.

And so my world is organized.

Social Science and Marketing

What is the future of business and marketing?

The big picture of Social Science, via the historical insight afforded us by Carol Quigley, and the contemporary commentary provided by Zbigniew Brzezinski.

The focus in Europe on Schumpterian economics, the liberation of innovation, tempered by control from the elites.

The growth in the field of human genomics... in exponential incline even against the 18-monthly doubling effect of computer technology as per Moore's Law.

The mindless mass hypnosis created by Barack Obama's presidential campaign.

These are scary times... to be in business, to attempt insight into consumerism, even to be alive.

But it would seem that the undercurrents of technological progress are certain. We shall no doubt live to see astonishing changes.

Some of us will profit from them. Some of us will affect them. Others will watch as they flash wizzing by. But even they will benefit from them.

Perhaps 4 things are worth reflecting for their importance:

  • collaboration - how web2.0 will grow through open source networking to evolve how we live.

  • management - old structures of large enterprise being replaced and outcompeted by teens in jeans.

  • marketing - ever more insight into consumer behaviour coupled with constant refinement of permission marketing and needs-oriented innovation

  • technology - new surprises from the R&D labs and other science labs that create disruptive breakpoints.

I look forward to tomorrow.

Organization Skills | The 5 Layers Of Organization Skills

Organization skills are fundamental to life.

Without good organizing skills you will stumble through life never achieving satisfaction or success.

What part do Organization Skills play in your life right now?

Developing organization skills involves understanding and applying 5 'layers' of organized living:

  1. First is your fundamental attitude about attaining and achieving what is right for you

  2. Second is learning how to organize your life, which obviously requires organization skills

  3. Third is applying those skills with organization to the important areas of your life

  4. Fourth is using those same organization skills to manage your time

  5. Fifth is taking control of your mind

Self-Esteem and Confidence

When setting out to change your life direction, you may have doubts about your ability to succeed. Don't worry, it's not only common, normal, and solvable. It's human!

The section, when developed, will contain articles on the areas of self-confidence, self-esteem, introversion, and emotional healing.
To overcome shyness or low confidence there are 2 basic routes. A blend of both usually is best.

However many people lean too much towards one or the other, and then never escape the traps that bind them. They look in the wrong direction.

This section on self-esteem and confidence will dispel that problem by bringing you face to face with ceratin deep honest realizations that perhaps are already on the brink of your awareness.

The confident self is one who both is aware and clear on self, whilst fully commited to the pursuit of contribution or creativity that is not of the self.

This is the dilema that this section on Self-Esteem and Confidence will unravel.

I suggest you get the Life Direction Through Personal & Career Development Free report today and I'll then be able to contact you when this section is expanded.

Let's go over to the Self-Improvement section.

Punch-And-Kick Your Way Through Anxiety and Pressure into Confidence and Success

Finding Yourself vs Creating Yourself

You don't need to 'find' yourself.

The mystery of 'finding one self' is that people ignore where they're standing.

Surprise surprise you are wherever you are. When you describe in full detail the current reality of your life, you will have 'found yourself'.

George Bernard Shaw said: "Life isn't about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself."

The key is to fully appreciate where you are, emotionally and practically. From there we have the foundations to build your new Life Direction.

Only by knowing where you're starting from can you plan a route to where you want to get.

So first write down all the categories and areas of your life.

Then fill in the detail of exactly what fills your life, at present, in each of those categories.

  • Remember to include your career experiences and skills you have got.

  • Include the current status of your health.

  • Your travel experience.

  • Your current living environment.

  • Connections that you've got, people you know that might be valuable to you for future projects and career.

  • Etc etc etc.

It's a big process, but obviously so worthwhile doing.

This must include the what's, why's, where's, who's, how's and when's of your life situation.

Quite a task, but vital for your Life Direction.

Of course it's easy to do with the actual Life Direction Clarifier.
"Things that you said in it are starting to sink in at a deeper level. I have been paying more attention to the blocks that disempower me. And now I see the huge importance of some of the questions you ask in that first webform." - Caroline Coronel, Musician and NLP Practitioner, London UK

Life Direction Clarifier.

Understanding your life purpose and negative emotions

There are 4 negative emotions that come from having difficulty with life direction. Pressure, Overwhelm, Frustration and Disappointment.

...Is your current life just way too boring or frustrating? Not much time or energy to focus on all that 'deep' 'important' stuff about 'What do I really want to do with my life?'

Marcia Wieder said "you can come to understand your purpose in life by slowing down and feeling your heart's desires".

But it's hard to 'look in your heart' because of 2 things:

Survival pressures to keep your nose to the grind and earn a living.
All the POFDs (pressures, overwhelms, frustrations and disappointments) that drain your energy and dampen your spirits.
But now it doesn't matter.

Because the Life Direction Clarifier automatically carries you beyond all that very easily.

After such a vigorous mental/emotional detox, you need to balance things out and think about all that 'airy fairy' stuff - such as the things you enjoy in your life now, and what you want in the future.

Yes you may well think you've done this stuff before, but it's just one step in the process, a needed one.

If you've already written down goals before, then pull them out of your dusty file, and you're going to be blown away about how integrated and practical they are about to become.

If you've not really written out a massive list of your dreams, hopes, aspirations, goals, etc. Then now's the time. Like no other time in your life before or after your discovery of the Life Direction Clarifier.

If you want my exact best practice method then get the trial offer for the 3 week plan and you'll be sure to do it with enough detail in the fastest time possible.

Here's what Dolores and Barry said:

"Nathan, the webform was on the money! It forced me to write and think about my goals for your course and made me impatient to start. So, thank you for reading my Web Form submission."

Dolores Lawrence, US

"Downloaded the stuff a couple days ago. Great work. Just the exercise about life's purpose is very impressive. I have been struggling for some time now and this looks to be a great help."

Barry Martin

But what if you've spent all too long fantasizing and visualizing about your ideals and now are disheartened and have low expectation of them being realistic; of ever coming true?

"If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them." - Henry David Thoreau

The Life Direction Clarifier is guaranteed to put those foundations under your dreams.

"..I keep reading all of these crazy books talking about writing down goals and such. My favorite of all time is The Science of Getting Rich.

For some reason my ego thinks that it seems too easy, too good to be true, you know. To just get a clear vision of want you want.

I find it hard to really focus on my objectives. Usually, I get glimpses of them, during a certain song or something, but never for long.

The questionnaires are a project. I seem to be able to get to deeper states of focus when I do the questionnaires.

I need to live my dreams, and the questionnaires help me focus on the goals and the steps to complete them.

Thanks Gav, great stuff!"

So what can YOU do to guarantee you become part of the 2% who actually make it?

Your Spiritual Gift

The honest reality of your spiritual gift must be acknowledged right now

Your spiritual gift is not pie in the sky mustical transcendence or altruistic contribution to humanity.

Your spiritual gift is the selfish might within you that you must take responsibility for.

Perhaps you have already.

Spirit compares to enthusiasm. The root of enthusiasm comes from the latin (or greek?) Entheos, which means God-Like. So to be spiritual, is to be god-like, is to be enthusiastic.

Enthusiastic about what?

Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, yes?

Your spiritual gift is your conscious ability to direct your efforts to selfishly fulfil human values. What people want.

Your spiritual gift can shine full strength when you have road-maps that guide you, that you create and control. That's where I can help.

I've kept this short and it mean seem completely unusual to the usual stuff you read. I invite you to pick up a book by Ayn Rand called The Virtue of Selfishness and from there you will understand your Spiritual Gift.

From understanding all this about Life Direction, healing and your spiritual gift, we turn to the realm of personal development.

Change Your Life

Change Your Life quickly through life direction road-maps.

There is a difference between 'changing' your life and 'improving' your life.

The difference is psychological.

Some people fight the idea of change. Yet they continue to hate their existing life.

It reminds me of a manager I once had...

...His family hadn't been supportive of all the strange personal development self help self improvement life direction stuff he had been listening to and said he was getting brain washed.

He said to them that before he had all this information his brain did need a wash, and so do their's now.

Perhaps you don't feel so strongly that you need to 'change your life', perhaps just some guided improvements (chuckle)

Check out the Life Direction Clarifier for how to chance your life direction quickly, easily, and for the better.

Life Direction

Life Direction...

Ever heard the saying 'it's the journey, not the destination that counts'?

Well without having a destination in mind, there really is no journey.

For Life Direction to exist, there must be a purpose.

Ayn Rand said that the most deprived type of person she could think of is one with no purpose.

Of course you do have purpose. You pursue that purpose every time you wake up, every time you go anywhere.

Understanding and harnessing and improving the direction and speed and clarity and value of that purpose is what working on Life Direction is going to be here.

Time Management Skills

Time Management Skills To Die For

I am a master of my time.

I used to think time management skills were to be as close to robot like as possible.

But by 15 years old I discovered I'm 'only human'.  So I had to grow up, out of my fantasy of 'absolute total control' as I saw it then, and desired so very much, into a flexible mature dynamic process of human conscious decision making.

My Time Management Skill

My time management skill now allows me to focus like a cheetah, yet simultaneously keeping a zen like 'mind like water'.

This weekend for example I must have spent 70% of my waking time as hard focused productive time. I've accomplished a lot in this one weekend.

Unfortunately, time management skills training is massively inadequate to teach you the attitude and techniques that are accurate enough and also flexible enough for your own personal style of living.

What will help is the system I use to build my own natural time management skill.  I call it the TIME-Lattice.

Time Management Activities

There are 3 keys to time management training activities...

Clarity. Organization. And Motivation.

But that's easier said than done.

Time management software seems like a good idea, but without the practical foundations, you know it will just become abandoned in favor of simpler time management methods.

Training workshops could be good, you'll do lots of time management training activities there, and many will help broaden your skill set for effective time management.

Project management courses cover some time management activities too.

In fact, selecting quality time management training from among all the readily available seminars, courses, and systems can be daunting at best, cause for total productivity melt down at worst.

That's why I authored a new white paper exposing the problems of common time management training activities (such as motivational speeches), and reveal how to succeed in those 3 keys of time management activity: clarity, organization, and motivation.

Revisit the Time Management Training page, or you can grab a copy of my...

Free Time Management Training Activities White Paper

A free white paper titled Exposing Productivity Gaps In Teams (how to invisibly 'force' your team to maximize their use of time' has been made available on a new Time Management Training Activities page.

Life Coach

Life coaching is a form of self-help where what you're lacking is clarity, or motivation.

Until 2 years ago I'd never had personal coaching.

I've made up for it though.

In the past 2 years I've had 1 life coach, 1 sales coach, and 1 internet business coach.

That's near $10,000.

Yikes, that's a lot of money.

Maybe for some people life coaching is worth while. For me, none of that coaching made me feel value for money.

On hind sight I should have spent $1,000 on books and audio programs, bought an mp3 player to listen to as I go about everywhere, maybe take a month holiday somewhere hot and sit by a pool and read my books.

Won't have spent half as much and would have got more input.

But life coaching isn't or sholdn't be the input you get. It's the quality of listening that facilitates your own self discovery. Well I've got a questionnaire process that providing you've got some personal motivation already, you'll be able to get out of that what is in my opinion better than most life coaching for personal development.

True I've only had 3 coaches so I can't judge the whole industry of coaching. But these guys were top top top guys.

If you feel emotionally anxious, frustrated or overwhelmed with either yourself, othe people or with life, then you are at the stage of self-help.

My Road-Map Workshop will do you wonders, and I can also suggest just a few good self help books.

Wake up productive, every day with these productivity rituals

When you get up in the morning, go through your regular routine and finally sit down to work...how effective and productive are you for that first half hour or so?

Do you dive directly into high-value, profitable work?

Or do you fumble around, figuring out what needs to be done first, checking through some papers on your desk and then finally getting started on something?

For most of us, the true answer usually falls somewhere in between these two extremes.

We don't dive directly into a state of maximum productivity. But nor are we a complete mess.

But most of us could do better.

And we could all benefit significantly from being able to jump into top gear within a few minutes of sitting down each day.

In fact, if you think about it carefully, you could increase your income dramatically simply by shortening the time it takes to get into that top gear each day.

How can you do it?

Here are two things you can do that will help.

First, be sure to update your schedule and to-do list at the END of each day. In other words, before you finish work for the day, get everything ready and prepared for the next day.

This means that when you first sit down to work, you'll be ready to get started immediately.

Second, do a quick audit of the ways in which you waste time at the beginning of the day. How much time do you spend reading emails that are just not important or of value to you? How much time do you spend on news sites? How many blogs and feeds do you follow?

Ask yourself which of these activities are a good use of your time, and which of them waste your time.

You'll find a lot more on how to make the most productive use of your time in Writing Rituals. But these two tips alone will help you wake up productive and increase the value of the time you spend at your desk each day.

For more information on how to increase your productivity, find out about the Writing Rituals method...

(this applies just as much to copywriters as it does to managers or business owners that need to get effective things done efficiently.)

Goal Setting

Goal Setting - How To REALLY Set Goals in Modern Life

I have a problem with the phrase goal setting.

Maybe it's just me. But I feel it's been so overused, and under accomplished, that it puts up automatic failure patterns and barriers in people's minds.

Or perhaps you're quite comfortable with the term, and who am I to put it down. It is a well intentioned and useful idea after all.

So setting goals. What does that involve. Goals setting comes from identify what you want.

Simple. Or not?

Goal Setting and Time Management

Well, goal setting usually involves some kind of commitment to actually accomplish what you want, not just to identify it.

So goal setting should involve 'project management' too.

And that's why I focus on time management, because managing time involves setting goals as well as project management.

How To Time Management Video

This is a great time management video with psychologist Zimbardo on time perspective.

Check it out:

[mc src="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bo4HiVetBd0" type="youtube"]Zimbardo[/mc]

He identifies 3 orientations to time management.

People are either:

future oriented - anticipated consequences, cost benefit analysis, what will be - life goal-oriented or transcendental life after death
present oriented - what is - hedonism / fatalism
past oriented - what was - positives or negatives
The most successful people are future oriented, future focussed. Because they put off instant gratification for the greater rewards and benefits that comes from discipline and coraling of assets and progress.

Einstein's perspective on Time

In late 2006 I found an old 1920’s course on Efficiency (claimed to be the world’s first ever) from the Emerson Institute of Efficiency.

I then realized getting organized is impossible in today's modern lifestyles...

That what we’re all really after is to be efficient.

See the free ebook What It Really Takes To Get Organized.

Then in 2007 I re-read the story of Ivy Lee and his 1930's time management technique of prioritizing... and that made me realize how time management training is 80 years out of date!

See the free ebook on the 3 Obsolete Time Management Techniques (and what to do about it)

In 2008 I learned a little more about Albert Einstein's ideas from the 1940’s, who offered the following idea about time:

"The train does not arrive at the station at 7:00 p.m. The train arrives at the station at the same moment the hand on the clock reaches seven p.m."

"Time and space are modes by which we think and not conditions in which we live."

You Are In Control

How do you feel about that statement?

Perhaps you...

  1. Felt your mind glaze over from avoidance,

  2. Felt a mild anxiety in the pit of your stomach, or

  3. Your eyes have brightened focus and conviction.

......Those (I think) are the ONLY 3 physiological reactions you could have just had.

If you did something else, I'd love to hear about it. Reply to me. But I highly doubt it.

Here's what they mean

If you're mind glazed over then you may in fact be pessimistic that a new life direction is possible for you. If that is the case, I would like you to email me your concerns about changing your life direction, what difficulties you have had so far, and I will do my best to help.

Or... if you felt a mild anxiety in the pit of your stomach by the idea that 'you are in control', then you and I share one thing in particular. A deep yearning drive for fulfillment.

Your anxiety is a healthy sign that you're 'awake', that you're consciously aware of the struggle and opportunity in life.

And if you brightened with focus and conviction, then you and I both share something too. We have a positive expectation, an optimism about our personal power and confidence in our decision making abilities to progress on our ideal vision.

Any which way, you and I are here because of destiny. Not the mystical destiny of 'fate', but the rational destiny of choosing the next step in our journey through life.
Would a road-map help?

Obvious isn't it?

You and I are probably far more alike than most other people...

They drift, hope for the best, and get by as best they can.

I'm sure you know what I mean by that.

Become a Freelance Travel Writer

If you love travel, and have a flare for creative writing, then maybe you too should become a freelance travel writer...

Do you have experience in journalism? Copywriting for websites or email marketing? Writing short stories or poems? Then you're way ahead of the game.

But if you do not have 'formal' training or experience in writing, yet read magazines, perhaps used to write a diary, ever blogged about a holiday experience, or anything else, then you probably have what it takes to become a freelance travel writer.

You can literally earn your living by taking holiday's and getting your 'travel diary' published in magazines, papers, and travel websites...

The secrets of some of the world's most successful travel writers have been revealed in a program that I am currently reading.

Not so much because I want a career move.  But because my general self-education in sales copywriting gives me the opportunity to enjoy learning about different styles of writing.

And I have to say, what I've read so far in AWAI's Travel Writer program, is incredibly exciting...

Check it out:

  • Thirteen ways to parlay your travel writer status into travel experiences most folks only dream about… stay at the world's best hotels, no charge… dine at exclusive restaurants, compliments of the chef… experience the world's best festivals, with a mayor's invite in hand… read the New York Times bestsellers before they hit the shelves… and more…

  • A fun, easy way to turn your journal entries into articles you can sell. Plus how to get them from inside your notebook to inside a glossy magazine… with your name right there under the headline.

  • The three most important things to remember when you're positioning yourself for offers of hospitality -- ignore any of the three (as lots of people do) and you'll doom your chances of getting perks. But put them into practice, and you'll be traveling like a celebrity in no time.

  • The one person in your hometown you want to be sure knows your name… because -- without question -- she'll pass it on to the folks who can hand you paying assignments and free travel perks.

  • Train yourself to see story ideas in every place you look -- on a cereal box, at a coffee shop, while you're gassing up your car -- you'll never be at a loss for inspiration.

  • How you can use photos to immediately increase your article sales (and the dollar amount for each one) -- and even develop a second income stream.

  • A simple four-step formula that makes it 100% more likely you'll land a by-line and a check.

  • Get the insider's list of what NOT to do (you'd be surprised at how many writers have no idea what makes editors crazy … ).

  • A simple technique for tripling your travel writing income… with almost no additional work.

  • Write a five-sentence email that will put your name on the invite lists for gallery openings… private museum tours… resort galas… concerts… and more…

  • Travel to "forbidden" destinations… places like Cuba, for example, and experience them fully… even though most U.S. citizens couldn't get by the border patrol.

  • Play the best golf courses and ski the hottest slopes. You needn't be Tiger Woods to find yourself walking on at Carnoustie… and you don't have to ski bumps like Bode Miller to spend a few charmed days in Vail…  Find out how to land a sweet deal for a fraction the usual rate, and possibly for no charge at all.

When David Morgan traveled to Asia, he did something vacationers always do on their trips – he took pictures of the native people, monuments, and scenery. But he didn’t stop there. He used a secret (the same one you’ll discover in this letter) to earn more than $6,000 for those shots.

He’s not alone...

Tim O’Rielly loves taking pictures of his home city San Diego. He used this very same secret to make $2,000 for just 10 shots. And later, he used this secret to travel to Kauai, a Hawaiian Island renowned for its enchanting beauty, cascading emerald mountains, flower-bedecked streams and swaying, palm-fringed shores. There, he stayed for a week, all expenses paid.

Of course, you don’t even have to stray far from home to pursue the photographer’s life. Rich Wagner made over $16,000 from a single photograph he took of a pumpkin patch just an hour from his home in Connecticut… and it's still selling.

These people aren’t doing anything you can’t learn to do. You don’t need fancy equipment. And you don’t need to know a thing about photography to get started.

All you need is the same secret to success these folks are using to profit from their photos. With it, you can make money even as a novice photographer.

About Me

Purpose

To help bring about a better world through combining marketing, product development, and efficient business practice.

Values

Individuality. Liberty. Health. Creativity. Happiness. Love. Children. Adventure. Personal Development. Learning.

Objectives

To work on different marketing projects worldwide, traveling every so often, exploring the world as I contribute as much as I can.

Projects

Currently contracted with an investment information provider as Online Marketing Manager.

Working on various online marketing projects of my own design.

Trying to find an efficient healthy balance between work, rest and play.

Pleasures

kosamet-muaythai2.jpgTraveling South East Asia for 14 months from January 2006 until March 2007 was very special.

Working from a laptop. Enjoying tropical leisure time. Meeting new people. Learning a new language (I was in Thailand most of my time so can now hold a very basic conversation in Thai).

Back in London, what I do for fun: read a lot... work on marketing and writing projects... and spend time with special people.

Market Research - Lies, Damn Lies, & Statistics

Market Research has its roots in Focus Groups using Psychoanalysis for interpretation of results.

That perfectly suits the old saying attributed to Mark Twain: "There are three kinds of lie: Lies... Damn Lies... and Statistics".

Speaking of which:

Here is a great example of how political polls are slanted to create results that are always in favour of the candidate no matter which option you pick.

[caption id="attachment_287" align="aligncenter" width="330" caption="political polls that slant results in the politicians favour"][/caption]

Can you see the problem here?

The poll pre-supposes that Barrack Hussein Obama can and will in fact lift the economy. The 'worst' option selectable is that it will take longer than 18 months.

This eliminates all chance of the respondent voting that Obama can not lift the economy, that he will only make things worse with his multi-billion economic stimulus plan.

Probably not the political marketing message that this poll organizer wants to find.

So soon we will see news coverage explaining general all round confidence in Obama lifting the economy at some point over the next 2 years.

Remember, there are 3 kinds of lie: Lies, Damn Lies, and Statistics.

Be sure to find marketers that collect and interpret market research data in a fair, balanced, and objective way.

Individual Capitalism and You, Inc.

I feel I owe you an update...

Although:

...With the lifestyle changes I have just begun (I am currently in the northern most tip of Venezuela), this will be a break from the norm of business marketing as usual...

In fact:

You should already have noticed the broader site categories in the right hand menu, for:

  1. Lifestyle advantages

  2. Your mind control

  3. Travel career breaks

  4. And society at large

Not a small subject range for one website, I know.

But integrating these areas will, I believe, bring you a far greater level of personal value, than just ´business as usual´.

Sure, you want a more successful career and better business-life experience.

(Or you most likely wouldnt be on this site in the first place).

...But even amongst stuffy narrow minded corporate types, or the junior managers fresh out of university, I know that your success is experienced through more than just your job title and pay check.

Rest assured, strategic and tactical marketing is at the very heart of my focus, and I will be demonstrating several product launches over the coming weeks, so stay tuned for all that.

Yet we also need to control 7 progressively far reaching dimensions for holistic and enduring success.

First...

You need to own your inner fundamental attitude for life advantages (what we might call Individiual Capitalism).

Second...

You plot out the general direction of your life that resonates most closely with you at present for accruing those individual profits of life experience. (Failing to plan is like planning to fail, right?)

Third...

You must move towards organizing the disparate components of that vision, just like any business venture.

Fourth...

Einstein expressed the fourth dimension of existence as ´time´, and time management is crucial for us all.

Fifth...

Slightly more kooky, but no less significant, Frank R Wallace and others have expressed a 5th dimension of existence as our conscious control of thought.

(I make no apologies for the depth of consideration that my website may now reflect, as subjects such as general semantics and systems thinking (whilst I take a non-academic interest), are vital tools for all long-term practical business growth, shareholder value, and project management as well as optimum lifestyle management.)

Sixth...

Is the synergy of You, Inc. and your own personal journey of individual capitalism (with its advantages of health, wealth, and happiness), combined with the same pursuit of other like minded people), whether it be through your effectiveness as a salesman in the traditional sense, or the broader contribution and involvement that you have in your company, your community, etc.

And Seventh...

Expanding our consideration in the broadest sense, through today´s rapidly advancing ´global organism´, we, together, as members of The World, Inc. are moving to new social structures...

...and I will report on my experiences throughout 2010 whilst traveling throughout Latin America, from Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Bolivia, and Argentina. (I have access to big business executives, some government officials, and of course the general populace).

The World, Inc. -- Earth´s Ultimate Business and Social System?

Civilisation 2.0 eliminates the frauds and force of state-support corporatist capitalism, and rejects the collectivist rights and shared non-ownership with its irresponsibilities and the ensuing force-and-fraud-backed suppressions of Socialism/Communism... replacing them with the clean-sweap simplicity that has been staring both sides in the face.

Free-Market Capitalism and Social Minded Socialism are one in the same.

Or atleast, they share the same solution:

Respecting the rights of the individual, legally protecting every person from force and fraud. Limiting government to democratically communally orchestrated shared social decisions on a local basis (without central planning), whilst protecting with bulldog tenacity the individual rights of property ownership for every single individual.

Only that combination, apparently, brings about the utopia that both sides, the left and the right, have promised and dreamed of.

I am currently reading Naomi Klein´s The Shock Doctrine, and I have to say I am shocked.

Not only by the fascinating contents and details of history that she presents, but also her incredible narrow-minded naive or downright intellectual self-dishonesty. I will have more to say on Naomi Klein in due course.

For now though, and with this update and orientation for the site, I am off to visit the local mountain range with a Venezuela Lawyer, to enjoy new foods, explore new cultural curiosities, and soak up the Caribbean sun.

Chao for now.

The Di Silvestro Equation | Correspondence with Julie Di Silvestro

A little break from the norm...

To begin, I have created a new page on process workflow.

That page extends into a somewhat esoteric subject called Processing.

Below is the correspondence with Julie Di Silvestro referenced on the new Internal Process page.

07 March 2004

Hello White Rabbit:

Your interpretation of my equation is quite excellent. I was thinking of magic when I wrote it; however, I've changed a few things that I've been toying with for a while now.

In my equation 'T1(I2+E2)=vT2(c)' I have decided that I do not like the word "effort" and have decided to change this to "energy" while (c) is most definitely for "consciousness" which, if you notice, I have also put before T1 since everything is consciousness - I feel these changes make the equation much more sensible, particularly when one thinks of quantum mechanics. The modified version of my equation now looks like this: (c)T1(I2+E2)=vT2(c)

Therefore, consciousness is the originator of T1 or the thought; the thought, depending upon the degree of intent plus the degree of energy behind it equals the velocity of manifestation, which is also consciousness since all perception is subjective.

J. Di Silvestro

My reply:
Julie,

It's absolutely wonderful to hear from you; very encouraging..

You say:

'perception is subjective' and 'everything is consciousness'

Julie are you familiar with general semantics? It explains the use of 'to be' and 'is' as having crippling effects on thinking. Ref: http://www.generalsemantics.org/Basics/index.shtml

Both you and I use those words and I'm not suggesting we're thinking cripples per se, however this is what came up for me when reading your email. Language, definitions, and contexts or view points are vital to me in communication, thinking and knowledge.

We can define perception as being subjective, and we need to be clear on what we mean by subjective. I would say that we can also define perception as being objective, with a clear contextual definition of objective.

Everything 'is' consciousness as being 'thought and things are the same'.

Ok…

Perhaps some play with the equation may be useful for thought and discussion:

T1(I2+E2)=vT2(c)

My own work has led me to identify 3 'keys' to success for vT2 which are:

Expectation

Mindfulness

Willingness

All are necessary for vT2.

Those 3 keys in my view correspond with the first part of the equation.

T1 = Mindfulness

I2 = Expectation

E2 = Willingness

Now, taking E2 as being energy or effort or willingness, what I am seeing is that a high degree of willingness will actually effect the action of vT2, just as a high level of effort will actually be the action of vT2. Effort and willingness as being the same.

Usually one might think of willingness as not necessitating effort, for being willing to do something perhaps does not mean that the effort is actually put forth to do it. However in the context of my 3 keys, 'expectation' (or intent) is the willingness without effort, but to action the expectation (I), the effort is needed, which comes as the degree of willingness or 'E'.

'Effort' though suggests 'struggle', which is not necessary when expectation and mindfulness are pure, thus I use the word willingness rather than the word effort and the greater degree of willingness denotes greater action towards the expectation (vT2). (I know this is all rather wordy).

I appreciate 'energy' as being a purer 'symbol' in terms of 'maths' but to me energy seems exchangeable for T1 and 'I' as well as 'E'. This seems to be moving backwards, to the Einstein equation with Energy = Mc2. Expanding on that as the Di Silvestro Equation does, I do not see that it should contain a single component for energy, particularly given my comments on T1 and 'I' seeming to be synonymous with energy… The Di Silvestro equation as it stands seems to break the 'energy' function into the 3 keys (in my terms). But all 3 keys (or I, E, and T1) are still all forms of energy. Yes?

It could be viewed as (c)e=vT2 where E = I * w * T1 (where E = energy and I = intent and w = willingness)

What do you think?

As per my '3 keys' I would construct

Mindfulness x (Expectation + Willingness) = vT2

Where Expectation = I

Mindfulness = T1

Willingness = E

I like the use of effort as it emphasizes self-responsibility, which is something we need people to absorb and integrate with over the coming years.

I like the addition of (c) to the start of the equation, and it makes me wonder about removing it from the end of the equation…?

This is so interesting..

I have edited and expanded the above multiple times over the past hour or so, so it could probably do with reading over a few times to absorb it all. I look forward to your comments.

Highest regards,

White Rabbit

I didn't get a reply back from her, not even a brief note, so I assume that she didn't like my disagreement with her. I will try emailing her again to find out.

As of Jan 06 I didn't hear anything from her. And having just read her email to me again, I think I can see that she shifted too far into a mystical notion of 'primacy of consciousness' which I do not agree with. Although I am undecided whether I agree with the notion of primacy of existence, or a notion of necessity of both consciousness and existence without either being primary. Perhaps a learned philosopher can help me here?

15th February 06: I received email from Julie Di Silvestro again, letting me know that she did not actually receive the follow up emails I sent her. Perhaps the spam alligators got them.

She said:
Hello WhiteRabbit,

Perfect example of subjectivity (perhaps projection is a better term) is your jumping to the conclusion that I disagreed with your concepts hence you did not hear from. On the contrary, they are quite insightful.

(Julie then explained that she didn't get my emails).

So it's great to be in touch with Julie again, and perhaps as I develop my writings about Processing, there may be more correspondence.

The Career Troika

This blog site is gradually evolving into wider aspects of business.

It started from Copywriting and basic Online Marketing. Considered contemporary issues such as Customer Performance Management, and has slowly expanded to several aspects of Business Strategy...

New Directions

The 'goal' of business (as per Eli Goldratt's Theory of Constraints) is making money. And this can be expanded and clarified by ethical considerations, risk-level acceptance, time-frame, etc.

Modern marketing insight is informing business strategy as to the risk-levels and economic value adding opportunities available for long-term effectiveness (far more important to overall shareholder value than the old financial measures of short-term profitability).

Peter Drucker said that Business has 2 key functions: Marketing and Innovation.

Marketing can be described as the process of increasing shareholder value through a long-term approach of satisfying ongoing changes of customer requirements.

Innovation can similarly be described as the process of adapting to changes in customer requirements to reach for ever greater ways of achieving customer satisfaction.

And so a Manager must combine Processes with Strategy inline with the Business Values, and his own daily task and time management.

Right now I see three important areas of a business career for this site to explore:

  1. Business Mission - The business you choose to be part of is your vehicle for value creation, captured in essence by a business 'mission statement'.

  2. Marketing Plan - Your marketing strategy and tactics represent the bridge between where you are now, and the full manifestation of the values represented by your business.

  3. Personal Strategy - This area focuses on your own abilities and skills that makes you increasingly competent to plan, decide, and control wider areas of business operation.

In my experience, these three areas represent key focus points for a successful modern business career.

This 'Career Troika' makes for an excellent model on which to base the evolution of this site.
